Greetings 5th graders and parents! My name is Miss Scott. I will be co-teaching with Mrs. Pfahler this semester. I am currently attending Purdue University and am finishing my last semester as a student. During this time I have the privilage to work alongside great teachers at White Lick. I will be in the classroom every day and will be working with Mrs. Pfahler and our students. I am excited to start the school year and I look forward to working with everyone and having a blast this semester.
As you can see, Miss Scott comes with a lot of enthusiasm. With all of her experience working with students in different environments, she will be a great asset to our classroom.
Here are a couple of notes about the beginning of the school year:
1. Please read the Back to School packet created by the fifth grade team. We will discuss the information in depth at our August 20th Meet the Teacher Night.
2. Please send in a new or gently used binder and $5 for the binder supplies for the year. The binder is an essential part of teaching organization and responsibility in fifth grade.
3. Please check this blog often for weekly updates and be sure to let us know if you have any questions!
We are looking forward to a great year!!
